Role Details Canadian Cancer Society Lodges provide a place to stay for cancer patients during their treatments away from home. It is a supportive environment for people with cancer and their adult companions. As a volunteer at the Lodge, you play an essential role in creating a home away from home for the clients and their families Description Your Duties would include:
  • Plan, organize and implement activities for our lodge guests
  • One evening a week, will work as a team with other activity volunteers
  • Create a monthly calendar of events to share with staff and lodge guests
  • Ensure activities are safe and engaging for our lodge guests

  • Friendly and outgoing. Comfortable working with a wide variety of people
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

Our Investment Lodge and role specific training
Your commitment
  • Weekly shift, 6pm-9pm (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening availability)
  • Minimum commitment 1 shift per week
  • Minimum commitment 6 months
