Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to join our telecommunications team in Montreal. This role supports the Chief Architect in ensuring Agile teams align with enterprise-grade architectural standards for distributed cloud-native products. You will take the lead on cloud strategy, implementation, and optimization, ensuring best practices in security, scalability, and performance across cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Chief Architect to define and enforce cloud architecture principles
  • Guide Agile development teams on architectural alignment and technical direction
  • Evaluate and enhance cloud infrastructure, deployment models, and CI/CD practices
  • Ensure security, governance, and compliance in cloud implementations
  • Provide architectural expertise on distributed systems and telecom domain workloads
  • Continuously improve cost optimization, resource management, and cloud automation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years in IT with 5+ years in cloud architecture roles
  • Proven success in architecting cloud-native systems at scale in telecommunications or high-availability domains
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, observability, cost optimization, and multi-region deployment strategies

Optional Skills

  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Bash, Python, GoLang
  • Experience working within complex Agile DevOps environments
  • Familiarity with open-source telecom stacks or 5G infrastructure

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $41.61/hour - $65.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
