Learning Consultant - Intermediate:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Learning Consultant - Intermediate for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.


Learning Consultant - Intermediate - Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Consultant to support the expansion of our team on a new project focused on building training strategies and a SharePoint site. The role involves managing learning and development projects, ensuring effective training solutions, and enhancing team collaboration.


Learning Consultant - Intermediate - Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing L&D projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, while monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.
  • Utilize SharePoint for project documentation, collaboration, and communication among team members.
  • Maintain and optimize SharePoint sites to enhance user experience and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop effective L&D strategies.
  • Design and implement training programs that enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Create engaging training presentations using PowerPoint to effectively communicate learning objectives and content.


Learning Consultant - Intermediate - Mandatory Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning and Development, with a proven track record of designing and delivering impactful training programs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create visually engaging and instructional presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing internal training sites using SharePoint, including site architecture, content organization, and user experience design.
  • Background in Risk and Audit, with familiarity in developing training aligned with internal controls, compliance standards, and audit readiness.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Education, or a related field.


Learning Consultant - Intermediate – Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Project management experience, particularly in L&D Projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Articulate 360, including course creation using Storyline and Rise.
  • Proficiency in Camtasia, with the ability to produce high-quality instructional videos and screen recordings.


Learning Consultant - Intermediate – Assignment Length:

This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment.
