About The Opportunity
Under the supervision of the Eastern Zone Clinical Engineering Manager, the DI Engineering Technologist co-ordinates and completes maintenance and inspection programs to maintain high level of performance and operator/patient safety for the Diagnostic Imaging Department of the Nova Scotia Health Authority, Eastern Zone.

$28.89 - $38.67 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
This position is currently eligible for a Market Adjustment of approximately $10,000.00 annually. Eligibility for a Market Adjustment is reviewed periodically.

About The Opportunity

About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Successful completion of a two-year course in Electronics Engineering Technology (accredited diploma) required.
- Must have completed basic fundamentals training for servicing diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Must have experience servicing Diagnostic Imaging equipment
- Must be registered or eligible to be registered with TechNova as a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) within two (2) years of hire.
- Must have access to reliable transportation, as travel across the province is required with this position.
- Knowledge of networking of medical devices is an asset.
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.
- Effective communication skills.
