GMM Advisory is looking for an Account Manager (North America) for its client, Love + Money.
Location: Canada or USA
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 CAD
Why This Role Exists
Love & Money is expanding into North America. With a new home base in Victoria, BC (on the waterfront) and new US and Canadian clients in our roster, we’re ready to invade all 51 of the not-so-United States.
To do that, we need the help of a sharp, strategic Account Manager who can strengthen client relationships, drive revenue growth, and contribute to new business development. This role is a hybrid of account management and sales—ensuring that our work remains world-class while identifying new opportunities to grow our impact.
Proactive, not reactive. Certainly active.
We need someone who can proactively spot opportunities, navigate client needs, and help us build a smarter, more profitable new business pipeline. You should be able to handle all in-bound enquiries, spin up new scopes, close deals, and onboard new clients. You should be always looking for new opportunities to do world-class work. You should be comfortable with sales targets, scopes, and conversations about money…without being a blowhard (it’s possible, we know it is.)

We believe that brands and digital products — like client relationships — are always in beta. And that the best client relationships are long and profitable for both parties. So we expect that a significant part of the business you secure will be through your existing clients. That means a deep partnership with every client that you’re assigned to, and thinking about the relationship in a way that benefits both parties.
What You’ll Do
- Own client relationships—ensuring long-term revenue growth, retention and advocacy.
- Develop new business opportunities—working alongside Jesse (Partnerships Director) to expand North American operations.
- Lead proposals & pitches—working with the Creative and Strategy teams to shape compelling brand and digital solutions.
- Contribute to Love + Money’s growth strategy—helping shape how we price, pitch, and position our work in the market.
- Be an ambassador for Love + Money wherever you go.
- Probably call your old contacts and tell them about your sweet new job at a cool new agency etc. etc etc.
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of experience in account management or business development within a brand, digital, or creative agency.
- Strong understanding of branding, digital strategy, and creative services.
- Confident in relationship-building, negotiation, and deal structuring.
- Based in Canada (ideally Victoria or Vancouver) or in the USA (West Coast, bb)
- A network in North America’s creative industry is a major plus.
