Extrusion Engineer

Our company is growing and looking to add an Extrusion Engineer . We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.

Responsibilities

The Extrusion Engineer will p articipate in the development and implementation of extrusion process standards, ensuring their effectiveness and compliance . Other responsibilities include:

• Oversee and audit the adherence to production process standards during implementation.
• Collaborate in the research and development of new extrusion technologies and processes.
• Conduct material improvements to enhance product pass rates.
• Provide comprehensive personnel training to establish an internal talent hierarchy and ensure effective technical knowledge transfer.
  
  

To qualify for this role you must meet the following:

• A bachelor’s degree is required; candidates with a background in metal materials are preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in aluminum extrusion process engineering, with expertise in project management, extrusion processes, and mold technology.
• Familiarity with TS16949 system requirements, aluminum material processing techniques, and process control methodologies. Knowledge of extrusion process standards, product specifications, operational guidelines, and continuous improvement (IE) principles is essential
• Demonstrates rigorous thinking, methodical problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in office software is mandatory
• Bilingual - Mandarin and English is preferred
