We require the skills of a Millwright for a permanent 12 hour night shift to join our talented Maintenance team, who will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all the building and equipment as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 12-hour night shift (7pm to 7am -Week 1 - Sun/Wed/Thur Week 2 - Mon/Tue/Fri/Sat)
  • New hires may rotate between days and nights for training


DUTIES:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Lead and assist major equipment installations, set-up and repairs of production machines/equipment, complete work orders;
  • Building Maintenance: perform general and major repairs to building installations, including heating, plumbing, and other building equipment as required;
  • Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
  • Perform other routine maintenance work on machinery;
  • Make parts, simple tools and gauges as required;
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.


IDEAL:

  • Licensed Industrial Millwright;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Manufacturing Environment;
  • Ability to read & interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and specifications in order to provide troubleshooting and repair services;
  • Mechanical Aptitude and willingness to assist in all maintenance projects as required;
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with the team, customers and suppliers about operational matters.
