Role Summary
As the Events & Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing and analyzing marketing campaigns and events to promote our brand and engage our target audience. The main responsibilities will include supporting the development and management of marketing events campaigns both online and offline, supporting and helping to develop creative materials for marketing campaigns, and analyzing the effectiveness of those campaigns, and supporting and helping to develop marketing content. This role requires creative thinking with excelled organizational and project management skills, as well as a deep understanding of marketing strategies and event planning.
This is a hybrid position in our Downtown Toronto office with the expectation to work from the office once a week. You are welcome to work out of the office more often if you wish!

What You'll Be Doing
- Support, plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including conferences, trade shows, webinars, VIP Dinners, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Assist with the planning and development of our annual innovation conference, Frontier.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns across various channels to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content, including promotional materials, social media posts, and email campaigns.
- Support pre and post-event production/admin, including email invitations, uploading on-demand video material, post event communications to registrants
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners to enhance the success of events and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and support for marketing and event activities.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- > 1 year of marketing or related experience
- Innovation mindset
- Ability to work well with a team and as an individual contributor
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to learn new technologies or strategies quickly
- Candidates who have previous experience working within a marketing department may be preferred, with typically 1-2 years on average. Experience can be in the form of an internship, or as a Marketing Assistant or as a Marketing Coordinator.
