  • We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Analytics Developer to play a pivotal role in building optimized data pipelines, and designing interactive applications that drive business insights. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver robust solutions. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential in this role. A specialization in Skywise (Palantir) is also crucial for this role, though candidates with experience with analytics platforms (Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

What are your main tasks & accountabilities?

  • As an Analytics Developer, you will be a key contributor to our data landscape in the North America Region.

In This Role, You Will

  • Design and Development of Data Pipelines: Architecting, building, and maintaining efficient and scalable data pipelines using relevant technologies, with a strong emphasis on leveraging the Skywise platform.
  • Data Integration and Transformation: Ingesting, cleaning, transforming, and preparing data from various sources for analytical consumption within Skywise.
  • Data Visualization and Application Development: Designing and implementing interactive data visualization applications and reports within Skywise.
  • Collaboration with Business Teams: Partnering closely with business analysts, project managers, and key business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Technical Specification and Documentation: Creating clear and comprehensive technical specifications for data pipelines and related solutions, as well as documenting code and processes thoroughly.
  • Palantir Expertise: Utilizing your deep understanding of Palantir functionalities (e.g., Foundry, Gotham) to develop data models, workflows, and applications.
  • Coordination with Global Teams: Collaborating with our Data & Analytics team in Europe regarding the hosting platform and data engineering pipelines, and engaging with the Data Governance teams in North America and Europe to align with data development standards.
  • Ensuring Data Quality and Governance: Implementing processes and checks to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of data within the Palantir environment.
  • Performance Optimization: Identifying and implementing optimizations to improve the performance and efficiency of data pipelines and workflows.
  • Providing Updates and Reporting: Communicating progress, challenges, and insights to relevant stakeholders, including your Airbus supervisor and project managers.

Required Skills And Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science,
  • Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of professional experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and analytics solutions
  • Excellent understanding and practical experience with analytics platforms such as (but not limited to) Palantir, Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with various database systems.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL/ELT tools and concepts.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language relevant for data processing (e.g., Python, R, PySpark, PostgreSQL, Java, HTML, CSS, Scala).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A solid understanding of data modeling principles.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Gitlab, GitHub).
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence concepts is a plus.
  • Team spirit and a collaborative approach.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Fluency in French may be helpful, but not required.
