Sales Analyst

Mariposa Dairy is a leading manufacturer of award-winning cheeses based in Lindsay, Ontario.  Our aim is to provide the highest quality cheese products in North America through the efforts of our skilled and valued team for the benefit of our customers and community.

Mariposa Dairy is currently seeking to enhance our sales team! We are looking for a Sales Analyst to assist us in achieving our key deliverables, growing the business.

Purpose:

This role involves conducting detailed financial reviews and developing sales performance dashboards. Responsibilities include reporting and analysis on finished goods inventory, budget, promotional activities, expenses and contributing to Request for Proposals (RFPs) by providing content and commentary. You will develop and produce the organization's sales reports, covering pipeline, gains, losses, and reviews. You'll also interpret financial reports and sales pipelines across business lines and maintain interdepartmental communication with key stakeholders. As a subject matter expert, you will support sales managers through all phases of the sales cycle, including sales team dashboard and assessment, pipeline management, pricing proposals, segment analysis, presentations. Collaboration with the Leadership Team may also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Live and uphold the company’s purpose and values.
• Report and Review on finished goods inventory based on set metrics and promotional plans, shelf-life requirements.
• Able to provide high level impactful summaries that are critical to the business, being able to take data and create a presentation that is easy to understand, dissect, and implement.
• Full ownership of pricing discrepancies and customer fines/deductions for the sales team, swiftly correcting errors to minimize business disruptions.
• Prepare and analyze sales forecasts, results reports, and presentations, including variance analysis against budget forecasts.
• Other duties and special projects as required

Qualifications:

• Ability to create dashboards and reports
• Ability to create presentations
• Background using Excel
• Ability to learn our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System, Power BI, SharePoint
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong experience with forecasting and analysis
