Business Planning Analyst

Reporting to the Supervisor, Product Control & Budget, you will use your keen sense for data analysis to analyze product sell-through and update sales and purchase forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and maintaining procurement plans to support sales targets and recommend improvements for optimal performance
- Evaluating promotional and market data to support competitive pricing and product strategies.
- Tracking and analyzing variances between forecasts, budgets, and actuals, providing recommendations to improve planning accuracy.
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare forecasts and pricing to ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Generating and sharing reports for Canon Canada PPG product lines, supporting budgeting during key financial periods, and identifying opportunities for process improvements with actionable recommendations.
To Succeed, You Will Need:
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain or Business Administration
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess forecasts, pricing, and market data
- Solid technical proficiency in Excel, including the use of VLOOKUPs. Pivot tables, and IF-statements
- Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities to meet deadlines and deliver accurate forecasts to Canon Japan.
- Proficient in using enterprise systems such as S21, Caps, Mercury, to support planning and reporting functions.
