Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Human Resources Specialist. The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day HR operations, ensuring both the efficient execution of HR tasks and the development of long-term people strategies and processes. This role requires exceptional planning, communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Job Responsibilities

This is a multifaceted role that includes a mix of strategic program development and daily HR operations execution. Responsibilities include

  • Lead the recruitment and onboarding process, including job posting creation, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer and employment agreement management, and new hire orientation.
  • Manage the administration of payroll, benefits, and other HR operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle the application and claim submission process for student wage subsidy offerings.
  • Support corporate governance requirements, including annual corporation return filings, shareholder documentation, etc.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives and programs that align with the company’s goals and foster employee growth, including employee engagement, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries and requests, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Oversee internal communication channels to ensure effective information flow within the organization.
  • Utilize HR technology and analytics to improve HR processes and reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Certificate or Degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in human resources, including talent acquisition, learning and development, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
