We are looking for an additional Analyst, Asset Management to join our Crestpoint Real Estate Investments Ltd. (“Crestpoint”) team. Part of the Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group, Crestpoint is a commercial real estate investment manager dedicated to providing institutional and high net worth investors with direct access to commercial real estate assets. Through the execution of our disciplined investment approach and active management of our properties, we strive to deliver stable income and attractive long-term returns through a diversified portfolio of office, industrial, retail, and multi-family residential properties.

What You Will Do

  • Provide assistance and support to the Asset Management team
  • Prepare property valuations and assist in the calculation of investment returns, as well as regular external client and internal property and Fund reporting requirements
  • Provide general asset management support including the financial analysis of potential leases, cash flow projections, redevelopment projects and financing alternatives as well as other portfolio management analysis
  • Gather and evaluate economic and market data
  • Travel from time to time related to asset and market tours and meetings with management teams and partners
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and special assignments as needed

What You Bring

  • 2 years of related experience; real estate asset management, valuations and/or investment experience preferred
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Familiarity with ARGUS real estate software is essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to think logically and problem solve effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure; dealing with changes and interruptions while maintaining strict deadlines
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Interest in real estate and/or real estate related fields
