Sales & Marketing Associate
How does the role impact the organization?
The Sales & Markting Associate plays a critical role in providing administrative and sales support for a successful Insurance Planning Specialist (IPS). This role ensures that the IPS has the tools, resources, and support necessary to succeed, while also promoting insurance in our branches.
What will your role be responsible for?
- Provide administrative support to IPS, including preparing proposals and quotations on various insurance products, scheduling appointments, and managing client and advisor communications.
- Maintain and update the CRM system to ensure accurate tracking of leads, prospects, client interactions, and new applications.
- Prepare and process new insurance applications and accompanying documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements.
- Manage pending cases and take the appropriate actions to oversee the completion of the case.
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives, including social media, email marketing, and branch events.
- Collaborate with our Total Wealth Solutions teams and external vendors to execute marketing initiatives.
- Maintain an understanding of industry regulations, insurance carrier products and processes, internal policies, and compliance guidelines through proactive personal development.
- Compensation: Competitive salary with performance bonus, and benefits package.
- Location: Hybrid (with remote work flexibility); this role may involve occasional travel for client meetings or industry events.
- Active Life Insurance License, or ability to acquire within 12 months.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in life insurance administration or a related role within the industry.
- Knowledge of Life and Living Benefits insurance products and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage complex policy documentation.
- Excellent communication skills to handle client and advisor inquiries with professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, policy management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners (e.g., carriers)

- Make prompt, pragmatic choices and act with the client in mind
- Take ownership and hold themselves and others accountable for delivering results that matter
