Why Join Us?

  • Work closely with the Program Educator - EC Team Lead for planning and troubleshooting.

  • Join regular team meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic environments.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Access to a reliable laptop or computer with a webcam, and a stable internet connection.

  • Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on participant needs.

  • Comfortable driving in a variety of conditions throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality.

  • Current CPR-C and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Completion and maintenance of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training (or willingness to obtain).

  • Clear Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry checks.
