Casual ESL Instructors
St. Patrick Adult & Continuing Education

Reporting to the Principal, The ESL instructor position provides instruction to adults using the Canadian Language Benchmarks for reading, writing, listening and speaking. As well the instructor will be required to develop lessons, curriculum and materials that are relevant to the student and are authentic that emphasize real-life skills, vocational and workplace English.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a three-year college or university degree, additional training/experience in teaching adults
- OCELT accredited, and language proficiency
- PBLA training and experience preferred
- CLB Bootcamp certificate preferred
- Experience in preparing lessons for Adult ESL students preferred
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proficient computer and technology skills to aid in instruction including D2L in the virtual learning environment and Microsoft Office software Excellent organization, problem solving and communication skills
Start Date: Immediately
Salary: $32.58/hour + 4% vacation
