We are currently looking for an After Sales Parts & Accessories Consultant at our Corporate Offices in Ajax, ON

The Parts & Accessories Consultant is responsible for continuing developing the Audi Genuine Part, Audi Genuine Accessories, Tires and Oil business outcomes through current and future business tools, products, and opportunities within our growing product portfolio. This position directly affects the satisfaction of the Audi Dealer Network by identifying sales & performance opportunities at national and local levels through an in-depth understanding of the upcoming products, various markets differences, inventories and customer needs. This consultant is creative and flexible in developing both wide reaching and targeted product offering across all parts, accessories and boutique categories and works in close collaboration with field team and Group After Sales in identifying opportunities and developing actions to realize the full potential.

With keen interest in a balanced business outcome, this consultant maintains in-depth awareness of both sales trends and inventory levels, ensuring that sales forecasts and results are matched with equal diligence to ensure Dealer & Audi Canada inventory levels work in unison and are maintained at target levels.

When opportunities are identified, the consultant works in close collaboration with Dealers, Field and the Program & Communications Consultant to implement effective dealer-facing or retail programs aimed at growing the collective revenues of the organization. In doing so, the consultant also maintains in-depth knowledge or performance gaps as well as best practices through reporting and analytics to support high levels of execution against objectives.

The Parts & Accessories Business Development Consultant always seeks to push the boundaries of the full potential with a deep understanding of the business results, drivers and strong orientation to over-achieve.

  • This is a hybrid-flex position.**

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensures Audi Canada stock levels are managed to required levels and avoids periods of overstock through effective purchase planning and sales performance
  • Supports wholesale and collisions parts business performance in close collaboration with Group After Sales
  • Drive the development of future revenue streams including e-commerce and OneAudi Marketplace
  • On time, effective and wide-reaching execution of Spring and Winter Booking programs
  • Advise on needs and support the development sales training materials for Dealers – targeting both Sales and After Sales teams in position to effectively grow revenues
  • Recurring reporting on state sales and inventory levels
  • Recurring and Ad-hoc presentation and reporting creation
  • Report on performance trends and provide insights on Dealer potentials at category level to support field execution
  • Participate in planning round process with AUDI AG
  • Complete Heavy Item Planning process with AUDI AG or related sales, purchase and inventory management
  • Work with Group After Sales to support and improve on various new and current initiative
  • Continuously drive sales of Audi Genuine Parts, Audi Genuine Accessories
  • Supports process of short-term forecasting, mid-term planning as well as monthly budget planning for all parts and accessories categories as well as boutique
  • Contribute in development and tracking of annual Dealer parts and accessories targets
  • Drive revenues from Tire and Oil products
  • Port Install Accessories development and efficiency
  • Identify opportunities through analytics and Dealer feedback and execute initiatives to maximize potential
  • Ensure Ease of Doing Business as measured by Dealers and internal partners
  • Effective and efficient administration of programs and supporting budget processes
  • Ensure effective vendor performance as seen through eyes of Dealers and in results of vendor-run programs both those directly with Audi Canada or supported through Group After Sales.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and or equivalent work experience within automotive service business
  • 5+ years of working experience in aftersales or other related consumer retail
  • Operational understanding of parts and accessories business
  • Strong knowledge in automotive and After Sales business operations (OEM, Agency or Dealer)
  • Parts and Accessories, retail merchandising, and sales planning experience
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • Working knowledge of SalesForce is an advantage
  • Exceptional decision making and problem solving
  • Strong strategic planning capabilities
  • Strong process orientation and analytical skills
  • Passionate in crunching and analyzing big data
  • Highly collaborative and team oriented
  • Strong time management and influencing skills
  • Superior presentation, verbal and written skills
  • Fluency in French (verbal and written) is an asset
  • Retail Experience in service and parts is desired
  • Familiar with Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Think Cell, Excel or Business Intelligence Tools like Tableau
  • Ability to assess risk and perform research
