The Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre (CHSC) has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Payroll Supervisor to join their team in Kelowna B.C!

This position works Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.

Days off: Sun, Sat, STAT

What Will You Work On?

This position performs various Payroll related functions, in accordance with established procedures, timeframes and various collective agreements. Performs duties involved in the preparation of Payroll and other related documents such as records of employment and insurance forms utilizing a computerized on-line Payroll system as well as word processing and spreadsheet software at an intermediate level. Supervises three to ten designated staff, coordinates work assignments, determines related training and orientation requirements and participates in the evaluation of employee performance.

What should your application include?

  • Your Resume outlining grade 12, successful completion of a recognized payroll course, and four (4) years' recent, related experience including one (1) year in a supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).
