We’re seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Project Manager in our Kitchener office, to lead the planning, logistics, and promotion of key events (conferences, workshops, webinars) and drive major departmental projects. The role focuses on project and logistics management — from coordinating vendors and budgets to managing joint marketing efforts. This Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Project Manager in our Kitchener office, to lead the planning, logistics, and promotion of key events (conferences, workshops, webinars) and drive major departmental projects. The role focuses on project and logistics management — from coordinating vendors and budgets to managing joint marketing efforts. Ideal for someone who thrives on organization, process improvement, and delivering seamless execution!
Responsibilities
- Build and manage project plans leveraging departmental toolsets
- Oversee the MDF (Marketing Development Funds) process, ensuring that all applications are submitted with proper detail, proof of performance is submitted in a timely manner, and detailed records are kept.
- Help with the logistics of our marketing events, sourcing suppliers, both in the lead up to events and during the events itself.
- Plan and execute tasks related to our yearly QBITS (Quadbridge Information Technology Summit) conference
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed on time
- Manage distribution lists and distribution of communications
- Support creative with ideas, copywriting, and graphics
- Support the Marketing Manager in strategic plan development
- Apply internal and external website updates
- Take on new responsibilities as needed, growing in the role as our department evolves.
- You have impeccable attention to detail, you catch the things other people miss, nothing falls through the cracks with you.
- You have the capacity to understand a project both at the conceptual level and the step-by-step process by which it will be completed. You are logistical royalty.
- You are an expert problem solver and operate well under tight timelines and last minute changes
- You take initiative and want to lead them
- You are a team player and will roll up your sleeves and step in whenever you can to make sure projects are successful
- You go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right
- Bachelor’s/DEC degree or equivalent in Marketing or Business-related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing and in event management
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
- Strong computer literacy skills are essential.
- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Strong organisational skills, creative thinking and a proactive mindset
