About Talent Harbour

Talent Harbour is a fast-growing Talent Management firm and part of a Business Consulting division specializing in acquisitions, investments, and helping businesses scale. Run by a husband-and-wife team of award-winning Canadian entrepreneurs, we are now expanding into media and content marketing to drive inbound leads and business growth.

We are building a media division to scale our personal brand, grow our audience, and attract business through high-quality video and content marketing.

About the Role

We are looking for a Content Marketing Producer who will take full ownership of our social media content strategy, production, and growth efforts. This is not just a content creation role—we need someone who can strategically grow our audience, generate inbound leads, and optimize content for maximum engagement and business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Editing

  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form and long-form video content (Reels, Shorts, interviews, podcasts) optimized for Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Use professional-grade lighting, audio, and camera equipment, troubleshoot technical issues in real-time, and adapt content based on platform-specific audience behaviors and engagement trends.
  • Add music, b-roll, motion graphics, captions, and storytelling structure to ensure content is engaging, polished, and on-brand.
  • Create visually compelling thumbnails, hooks, and formats that capture attention in platform feeds.

Content Strategy & Optimization

  • Develop and own the content strategy to support lead generation, audience growth, and brand positioning, especially for the CEO and Talent Harbour’s leadership presence.
  • Continuously test and refine platform-specific best practices (hooks, captions, pacing, formats) to improve engagement, reach, and optimize video SEO and metadata.
  • Ensure content aligns with business goals, speaks to your target audience, and supports ongoing sales, community objectives, and thought leadership efforts.

Marketing & Growth Strategy

  • Develop and execute a data-driven content marketing plan focused on increasing brand visibility, driving inbound leads, and establishing the CEO and Talent Harbour as a thought leader.
  • Track and report on KPIs (followers, engagement, lead conversions, audience growth) and implement continuous improvements based on performance data and audience insights.
  • Optimize content for SEO, hashtags, and social media algorithms to increase discoverability and maximize reach across platforms.

Repurposing & Multi-Platform Distribution

  • Convert video content into snippets, posts, carousels, blog articles, and newsletters to create a cohesive cross-channel presence.
  • Manage content distribution through HubSpot and other tools, ensuring a smooth workflow for scaling content efforts.
  • Write or collaborate on platform-optimized copy (titles, hashtags, CTAs) that supports discoverability and conversion.

Audience Growth & Inbound Lead Generation

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram presence and engagement.
  • Experiment with different content styles, trends, and platform-specific best practices to identify what resonates most with target audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to align content efforts with business development and client acquisition goals, ensuring all content serves a broader strategic purpose.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with leadership to craft messaging, plan content around business development efforts, and shape the tone and voice of Talent Harbour.
  • Help make leadership and clients feel comfortable on camera—guiding them through the storytelling process with confidence and ease.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing, and social media growth, with a proven track record of increasing audience engagement and inbound leads.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality video content, audience growth strategies, and data-driven content optimization.
  • Expertise in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar), including advanced editing techniques for professional-grade content.
  • Proficiency in video SEO, content optimization, and platform-specific engagement strategies (YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok).
  • Experience with HubSpot (or similar marketing automation tools) for content distribution, lead tracking, and performance analytics.
  • Strong copywriting and content repurposing skills, with the ability to transform video into LinkedIn posts, blogs, and newsletters.
