As the Supply Chain and Logistics Analyst at GoodMorning.com, you will support the day-to-day operations of the Supply Chain and Logistics team, focusing on inventory management, purchase order (PO) administration, and inbound logistics. Working with the Supply Chain and Logistics Team Lead, you will work with inventory and logistics data to track performance, provide analysis, and contribute insights to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Your responsibilities include managing key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring vendor compliance, vendor performance management, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities that streamline processes, reduce costs, and optimize inventory. This role requires strong analytical skills, a high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Sales & Operations Support :
- Gathering and analyzing inventory and logistics data to support the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between vendor capacity, inventory levels, inbound logistics, and demand forecasts.
- Providing insights into on-hand Stock, Inventory in Transit, and supplier reliability, helping to refine the supply plan based on current inventory and supplier performance.
- Collaborating with the Team Lead to update data for the S&OP cycle, assisting in adjustments to the supply plan for factors like vendor holidays or demand fluctuations.
- Executing supply plans in relation to international and domestic freight, including coordinating with carriers, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining costs.
- Reporting and Data Analysis :
- Preparing regular reports on primary and secondary KPIs, including Inventory Level (Working Capital), Inventory Turnover, Freight Costs, Customer Delivery Shipping Costs, and Warehousing Costs.
- Tracking and analyzing vendor performance on metrics such as On-Time Delivery, PO Accuracy, and PO Damages, identifying trends and summarizing insights for continuous improvement.
- Conducting baseline analysis on inventory data (e.g., slow-moving or excess inventory) and logistics costs, highlighting risks and variances relative to revenue targets.
- Vendor Performance and Compliance :
- Assisting in identifying and maintaining relationships with logistics vendors and tracking their performance to ensure compliance with KPI standards.
- Monitoring supplier adherence to timelines, accuracy, and quality standards, working with the Team Lead to address issues and propose improvements.
- Supporting communication with suppliers to explore alternative solutions when performance concerns arise, ensuring alignment with company needs.
- Inventory Management
- Ensuring inventory levels are aligned with forecasted demand to optimize the supply chain and avoid excessive inventory or shortages.
- Setting appropriate reorder points, managing safety stock levels, and adjusting inventory based on fluctuating demand patterns.
- Continuous Improvement :
- Identifying and recommending process improvements in inventory and logistics, such as optimizing reorder points, improving stock rotation, or enhancing freight routes.
- Working with the Team Lead to implement approved improvements, monitoring their impact on inventory accuracy, cost efficiency, and supplier reliability.
- Tracking the outcomes of improvement initiatives, providing feedback and data-driven insights to refine ongoing strategies.
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field, with exposure to inventory management and/or inbound logistics a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree, diploma, or equivalent training in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with logistics vendors, managing data, or supporting cross-functional initiatives is advantageous.
- Light coding experience.
