About The Team You Are Joining
As Instructional Designer - Intern, you will work closely with IATA Training Design team to create engaging and effective learning experiences. IATA Training is a commercial division of Commercial Products and Services, and comprises more than 700 training products that serve the aviation industry with essential knowledge and skills. You will work in a multidisciplinary team serving the Aviation industry. This position offers valuable hands-on experience within the instructional design field and a chance to contribute to the continued success of our organization.
Candidates applying for this job need to be recent graduates, available to start quickly, and work on a full-time basis (40 hours per week), for at least 6 months. What Your Day Would Be Like
Your day-to-day will vary depending on the projects and tasks you will be assigned. These projects and tasks include but not limited to:
You are currently pursuing or recently graduated in (in the last 3-6 months) a degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, or a related field.
You Also Demonstrate The Below Skills And Qualifications
Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating clear and concise instructional materials.

What Your Day Would Be Like
Your day-to-day will vary depending on the projects and tasks you will be assigned. These projects and tasks include but not limited to:
- Instructional Design
- Assist in reviewing source content documents from SMEs to identify content gaps and define appropriate learning strategies for the best learning experience
- Create storyboards, scripts for elearning, microlearning and video tutorials
- Coordinate and participate in all aspects of the instructional design process (ADDIE)
- Use Articulate 360, Adobe to convert storyboards and source content into engaging digital assets, including e-learning, microlearning modules, videos, and interactive PDFs/Infographic.
- Help SMEs/Product Managers with PowerPoint presentations, creating activities and handouts for Instructor-led courses
- Collaborate with vendors to develop, test and launch new digital products
- Ensure all written materials reflect proper language structure, grammar and spelling and effectively target their intended audience
- Work with the technical team to manage and update the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Research: Conduct research on best practices in instructional design and emerging trends in educational technology.
- Assessment Design: Create assessments and quizzes to evaluate learner understanding and progress.
- User Experience: Apply appropriate visual strategies to ensure a user-friendly and engaging learning experience.
- Feedback Implementation: Gather and analyze feedback from learners and stakeholders to improve learning materials.
- Project Support:
- Provide support for various instructional design projects, including administrative tasks and coordination.
- Provide weekly verbal and monthly written reports on progress and status of any given project.
You are currently pursuing or recently graduated in (in the last 3-6 months) a degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, or a related field.
You Also Demonstrate The Below Skills And Qualifications
- Excellent English writing skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe InDesign, video editing)
- Proficient with Microsoft: PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies
- Self-starter and Detail-oriented
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
