About The Role

The Senior Manager, Revenue Optimization is integral in driving profitability, client growth, and operational efficiency through insightful, data-driven strategies across Freight Club's LTL and parcel logistics network. Part of the Freight Club Sales Team, this role focuses on leveraging analytics to enhance shipping optimization, pricing strategies, and carrier relationships, translating complex data into actionable insights to maximize revenue and client satisfaction. This role reports directly to the General Manager, Freight Club and partners with the Analytics team on cross-functional initiatives and insights.

This is a hybrid role, 1-2 days in the office, based in the Vancouver, BC area.

What You’ll Do

Logistics Analytics

  • Analyze performance data to optimize logistics networks, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance client service levels.
  • Lead strategic projects on logistics improvements such as mode shifts, route optimization, and carrier negotiations.
  • Support RFP processes through detailed analysis of carrier performance and market competitiveness.

Revenue Management

  • Implement dynamic pricing strategies considering market conditions and operational capacities.
  • Forecast and manage freight volumes to efficiently allocate logistics resources.
  • Audit logistics processes, identifying and mitigating revenue leakage due to inefficiencies or errors.
  • Negotiate carrier agreements using analytical insights to enhance profitability.

Operations Analytics

  • Define and track operational KPIs, including delivery performance and inventory efficiency.
  • Conduct detailed analyses to identify operational inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Implement real-time analytics solutions to dynamically respond to operational challenges.

Who You Are

Experience & Education

  • 7–10+ years of related experience and education in logistics analytics, revenue management, or operational analytics—ideally within eCommerce or logistics environments.

Technical Expertise

  • Advanced skills in data analytics tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Deep understanding of logistics operations, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization techniques.
  • Strong experience in analytical modeling, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms like Salesforce or HubSpot.

Leadership & Communication

  • Strategic thinker with a knack for simplifying complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Confident communicator who can influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented while maintaining a strong grasp of the bigger picture.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and energized by solving tough challenges with cross-functional teams.

Compensation

The Salary Range for this role is between $120,000 and $140,000, depending on experience. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. We offer a comprehensive range of benefits which includes:
