Our vision is to be the leading asset management organization supporting our clients optimize the performance and value from their physical assets through the lifecycle of planning, creation, maintenance, operation and disposal. We combine our digital, engineering, data analytics and consultancy expertise from our local and global teams to deliver practical, sustainable and predictive asset management solutions for asset owners, enabling operational, tactical and strategic asset management decision making in a continually changing environment for the lifecycle of assets.
Based in Canada, we have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Management Consultant, Intermediate Level, to join our Mobility Asset Management team and help achieve this vision. You will support our Senior Asset Management Leaders deliver our Canadian asset management strategy, assist in a range of asset management consultancy projects and help develop value to our rail, highways, aviation, ports and marine clients. Working in a matrix organization, you will also provide support to the wider asset management consulting and advisory business through our global business areas, Mobility, Resilience and Places.
As a key member in our Mobility Global Business Area, Asset Management delivery team reporting to one of our Senior Asset Management Leaders, you will play an important role in delivering successful projects to our clients, in supporting business growth and seeking new project opportunities through the delivery of high value services. This is a newly established team, pulling together our already strong capability in asset management into a unified offering with an opportunity to work across roads, highways, rail, aviation, ports and marine sectors. . There will be opportunities for growth and career development for individuals with a professional development growth ambition, and as the team develops, you may manage and direct more junior staff, acting as a technical subject matter expert (SME) in asset management.
Role accountabilities:
You will apply your asset management process skills, knowledge, and insight to oversee the delivery of asset management projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet both quality and budgetary targets, while consistently striving to exceed client expectations. Additionally, you will support the implementation of our Canada Mobility asset management strategy and related pursuits, particularly in the application of international asset management standards, such as the ISO55000 suite, and in providing advisory services for risk- and performance-based maintenance practices.
Your role will involve managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement both internally and externally, with the aim of generating positive outcomes for all parties involved. As part of the team, you will also contribute to the development of future opportunities for Arcadis, helping to add value and grow our Asset Management service offerings. Furthermore, you will support cross-business line tenders by identifying and pursuing asset management opportunities.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will actively promote and market all aspects of the company’s services during client interactions and in general business activities, ensuring that the strengths and capabilities of Arcadis are consistently showcased.

The salary range for this position is $89,600 - $134,400. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.

Qualifications & Experience:
- 6-14 years experience and a sound understanding of asset management solutions primarily in the transportation sector other sectors will be considered, helping resolve strategic, tactical and / or operational challenges. Examples include but not limited to life cycle plans, Asset risk assessments, operations and maintenance planning, decision support tools and asset data quality assessments.
- Experience of working as a client or in consultancy environment. Note that whilst the Mobility Global Business Area end market experience is preferred, experience in other sectors will be considered.
- Good understanding and familiarity with industry standards and best practice such as ISO55000 principles, GFMAM methodology.
- Tender management, proposal development, CRM, and bid experience.
- Support the Sales Management process, complying with company reporting and forecasting requirements including transparency, and high quality Proposal development.
- Good understanding of risk management (e.g FMECA, Bow Tie, Fishbone)
- Experience of using or developing decision support tools to guide asset management decisions.
- Working towards Chartered status or membership of Professional Institution (e.g IAM. PEMAC, SMRP)
