Core Responsibilities
Pre-Opening Project Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle of new club openings, from initial planning to post-opening support.
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines, ensuring all milestones are achieved on schedule.
- Coordinate across departments (construction, operations, IT, marketing, HR, etc.) to align resources and meet deadlines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and vendors during the opening process.
- Ensure all operational systems, supplies, equipment, and technology are in place and functioning before opening.
- Assist in setting up workflows, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with Crunch standards.
- Implement opening day checklists and conduct readiness audits to identify and resolve any gaps.
- Partner with club leadership to recruit and onboard key staff prior to opening.
- Lead pre-opening training sessions on operations, systems, customer service, and brand standards.
- Ensure teams are prepared to deliver consistent and high-quality member experience from day one.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support local campaigns, soft launches, and grand opening events.
- Help execute member acquisition strategies, promotional events, and local outreach to generate buzz and drive traffic.
- Provide ongoing support to new club teams during the initial weeks’ post-launch.
- Gather feedback from staff and members to refine processes and ensure a smooth transition into regular operations.
- Conduct a post-mortem analysis of each opening to improve future club launch strategies.
- 3+ years of experience in fitness industry operations, or multi-site support—fitness industry preferred but related fields will be considered (i.e. retail).
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Experience with staff training, onboarding, and customer service delivery.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours to support openings.
