As a member of the Real Estate and Workplace Services function, the Workplace Experience Consultant is responsible for executing on enterprise initiatives related to our employees’ and leaders’ workplace experience – in support of both the Workplace Strategy and Real Estate Strategy. This role will build strong working relationships within the business to curate and communicate a holistic on-site workplace experience that supports positive employee engagement, fosters organizational culture and drives sustainable value.

This role will build strong working relationships within the business to curate and communicate a holistic on-site workplace experience that supports positive employee engagement, fosters organizational culture and drives sustainable value.
How You Will Create Impact
- Demonstrating knowledge about the business of Co-operators and communicate how a curated workplace experience can be used to maximize productivity and collaboration while within the workplace
- Utilizing strong analytic thinking to evaluate problems and provide resolutions within the workplace portfolio.
- Collaborating with and influencing the business toward leveraging common enterprise workplace solutions that drive toward workplace optimization
- Demonstrating knowledge of internal processes, organizational purpose and mission, and enterprise goals to recommend strategic workplace solutions
- Partnering with Facilities Operations, Real Estate and Workplace Design & Experience to create and deploy workplace related communications that strive to minimize business disruption and ensure clarity of onsite expectations
- Creating and implementing training related to the workplace
- Acting as an ambassador of Co-operators to manifest culture in the workplace.
- Understanding how brand and culture are wrapped into employees’ daily experience and how the workplace can elevate their work
- Communicating and monitoring changes within the workplace and their impacts on the business
- Fostering an environment of collaboration and transparency with employees
- Mobilize other internal employee groups to help champion internal initiatives for greater promotion and acceptance
- Developing strategic solutions for workplace programs targeted to internal audiences
- Collaborating with management and peers in IT and Human Resources and impacted stakeholder groups to ensure alignment of activities that ensure a holistic workplace experience
- You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.
- You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions and proactively propose solutions.
- You have strong communication skills to clearly convey messages and explore diverse points of view.
- You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.
- You have 5-10 years of experience in Change Management, Human Resources, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
- You have a post-secondary diploma in Communications, Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of workplace impacts on employee experience
- Expert ability to consult with stakeholders and provide holistic solutions that address sometimes competing needs
- Working knowledge of the varied business within Co-operators (nuances between companies, functional areas, and geographical locations)
- Ability to review complex workplace analytics and interpret data as key inputs into creating recommendation
- Working knowledge of communications and change management best practices
- Ability to utilize a variety of computer-based tools to create professional tactics (e.g. powerpoint, training modules, sharepoint sites)
- Managing logistics of on-site events – and translating on site experience into clear and concise documentation
- A natural, expert relationship builder
