YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE :
- Conduct advanced analytical work to support strategic business decisions.
- Lead development and refinement of pricing methodologies and frameworks.
- Oversee and guide junior analysts, ensuring quality and consistency in deliverables.
- Prepare internal reports and presentations highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Present technical findings to a range of stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives in collaboration with other business units.
- Lead initiatives focused on optimizing analytical processes and tools.
- Maintain awareness of emerging trends and practices relevant to pricing, modeling, and risk management.
- Build expertise across adjacent operational areas to enhance end-to-end understanding of product lifecycle.
- University degree in a quantitative discipline such as actuarial science, statistics, or a related field.
- At least four years of progressive experience in actuarial or analytical roles across diverse functions
- Advanced progress toward, or completion of, a recognized actuarial fellowship designation (e.g., CAS or equivalent).
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, paired with critical thinking and a solid understanding of industry dynamics.
- Demonstrated initiative in driving innovation and proposing effective solutions to complex problems.
- Proficiency with analytical tools, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Experience or familiarity with programming and data tools such as Python, SQL, R, VBA, PySpark, or SAS is considered an asset.
- Different combinations of relevant experience and education may be considered.
- Strategic in aligning actuarial work with broader organizational goals.
- Analytical in approaching complex problems with data-driven insights.
- Precise with a strong attention to detail while delivering under tight deadlines.
- Articulate in communicating technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Supportive in mentoring team members and fostering collaboration.
- Curious and eager to explore new tools, methodologies, and industry trends.
- Results-oriented with a focus on delivering impactful business outcomes.
- Ethical in maintaining professional standards and sound judgment in all work.
