Summary Of Duties
Working with the professional team, the Patient Service Partner participates in the caring of patients by providing a variety of support services to the team and patients. Participates as a member of the team in a manner that reflects the Hospital philosophy and mission of service and promotes and maintains good public relations with patients, visitors and Hospital staff. The PSP will be required to assist with patient care; decontamination of Cystoscopy/Colposcopy suites, care of specialized equipment, transportation and positioning of patients, restocking of supplies.

Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum Grade 11 or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario Ministry of Education
- PSW Certificate or completed the Sunnybrook PSP (formerly PSA) course required
- Must score 80% or better on the PSP quiz
- Proven communication skills (both written and oral)
- Recent Experience as a PSP at Sunnybrook required
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in Cystoscopy/Colposcopy preferred
- Must possess an Infection Control Core Competency Certificate
- Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
