Ready to suit up as a Security Guard
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Security guard for a Data Centre in Barrie. This position is an excellent opportunity for those looking to progress in the security industry due to advancement potential within the site. This role will see you patrolling, providing access control, monitoring CCTV and investigating alarms in a state of the art facility in Barrie's South End - minutes from Highway 400.
Schedule: FULL TIME continental rotation with two weeks days then two weeks nights (Week #1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday / Week #2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday). Shifts are 0700-1900 on days, 1900-0700 on nights.
Applicants MUST be able to work the full schedule in order to be selected.
Pay: $20.00/Hour starting with potential for advancement and pay increase

- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- First aid certification an asset
- Strong report writing skills
- Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus
- Strong proficiency with technology
