The team is looking for a talented, experienced, collaborative and future minded individual to lead the marketing and commercial activities of Oncology Pipeline assets in both hematology and solid tumor. This position can be based in our Montreal (Saint-Laurent) or Toronto (Markham) office and reports to the Business Unit Director, Oncology.

The team is looking for a talented, experienced, collaborative and future minded individual to lead the marketing and commercial activities of Oncology Pipeline assets in both hematology and solid tumor. This position can be based in our Montreal (Saint-Laurent) or Toronto (Markham) office and reports to the Business Unit Director, Oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of robust, launch plans for all oncology pipeline assets in close collaboration with the affiliate pipeline cross-functional team, Global Commercial Teams (GMCO), Global Commercial Development (GCD) as well as our Intercontinental counterparts to co-create solutions reflecting Canadian Strategic Priorities and local regulations to optimize launch planning and best-in-class launch execution.
- Participate as core team member in all Global Touch Point (TPs) TP1,2,3
- Provide commercial recommendation into the evaluation and recommendation for Go/No Go decision on pipeline early assets products (TP process)
- Conduct market assessment of all pipelines new assets to inform on local commercial viability of early regulatory filing (with PH1/2 data). Assessment includes, but is not limited to patient disease flow, early and future competitive trends and financials. (18/24 months prior to NOC)
- Analyze market issues and opportunities and communicate findings to brand team and to senior management.
- Work in close collaboration with forecasting team to deliver accurate and timely output.
- Manage and strategically spend Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budget where required including working collaboratively with external vendors.
- Support Venclexta Sr. Brand Manager on in-line strategic planning and execution as required.
Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Science or related field is required.
- Significant commercial experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with a proven track record of success.
- Minimum of 8+ years in sales, marketing/brand management required, experience in relevant therapeutic areas an asset.
- Experience in oncology an asset along with knowledge of hematology and/or solid tumor therapeutic areas an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to think and plan strategically with a focus on work plans, activities, timelines, and targeting, while executing cross functionally with excellence.
- Required experience in deploying digital or virtual programs.
- Strong Cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with an innovative, can-do mindset.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- A customer-centric approach to understand and prioritize the needs and perspectives of patients, healthcare professionals, and other key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in advanced English, both oral and written; French language skills are a plus.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Comfortable with technology and using various tools/systems for daily tasks; experience with Veeva is beneficial.
- Travel approximately 30% of the time.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and passport.
