MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer for a 6 month contract role with a client of ours located in Vancouver


Responsibilities:

  • Design and build a BFF/API Gateway to interface between front-end apps and Magento
  • Develop robust, scalable APIs and microservices to support e-commerce transactions
  • Perform data modeling and data mapping to enable smooth integration between systems
  • Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to ensure seamless data flow and performance
  • Contribute to architectural decisions in a MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless) environment


Requirements:

  • Strong experience in full-stack development with a focus on API design and integration
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling and mapping complex data structures
  • Proven experience working in MACH architecture or similar modern microservices environments
  • Familiarity with GraphQL and Adobe E-Commerce (Magento) is a strong plus
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and deliver high-quality code
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
  • Solid understanding of security best practices in API development
