Voiceflow is loved by over 80,000 global teams with some of the world’s largest companies as customers including Google, BMW, US Bank, McDonalds, JP Morgan, Spotify, Amazon, Home Depot, Best Buy, John Hopkins, and thousands of others.

We’re biased of course, but we think we’re building one of the coolest products in the world. Put this claim to the test and try out Voiceflow’s free version yourself - give it a try!

Joining a new company is one of the biggest decisions we all make in life as we’re investing our most important resource - our time. At Voiceflow, we’re investing our time here because we believe in an inevitable future where many of the conversations we have with brands everyday will be increasingly automated. If that’s the future we’re all going to be a part of, then the world needs Voiceflow to ensure the teams building these conversational experiences have great tools to craft great experiences. Think of us like the Adobe creative suite for the growing world of conversational AI. You can learn more about our vision of the future here.

We’ve raised $25M USD the past 2 years from some of the world’s best investors including Felicis, Craft, True, Amazon, Google & CEOs of Figma, Webflow, Eventbrite, Invision, Producthunt, and more. We’re a small, fast growing remote team of around 35 team members from around the world, composed of dedicated and talented individuals with a core focus on engineering and product.

About The Role

Voiceflow is growing - this summer, we’re shipping a bunch of new integrations and overhauling our documentation to better support builders of all levels. We're hiring a summer intern to join our Growth team until the end of August and help improve our technical documentation. You’ll be among the first to experiment with new Voiceflow features, contribute to our public documentation, and help migrate our courses to our Voiceflow Learn platform.

This isn't a traditional software developer co-op (though you'll likely write bits of code or JSON here and there). It's ideal for someone technical who loves making tools easier to understand - and who’s excited by the idea of helping thousands of users build AI agents faster and better.

You’ll be scrappy - working through ambiguity, asking great questions, and making decisions when needed. You’ll learn how to communicate with technical customers at scale, and how to turn complex tools into clear, accessible experiences that empower users to build with confidence.

What You’ll Do

  • Test out new Voiceflow features and integrations, and write clear, helpful documentation to go with them.
  • Find areas where our docs, videos, or tutorials can be improved — then pitch, write, and create content to fill the gaps.
  • Create example projects and templates that showcase how to use new Voiceflow features, helping users get started faster.
  • Track content performance metrics to understand what’s working and what could be better.
  • Collaborate with the growth, support, and engineering teams to uncover what users are struggling with and help address those pain points through content.
  • Use AI tools (like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) to streamline your workflow — summarizing feedback, organizing information, and refining drafts.

About You

  • You’re technical - you don’t need to have deployed huge production grade codebases, but you do need to have built and deployed something before, even if it's just a portfolio website!
  • You’re comfortable with writing and creating content, trying out new technologies, and taking onboard feedback.
  • You have strong attention to detail. The speed that the cursor moves on our screenshare, the order we tell our users to do steps, and the specific words we use when explaining concepts all matter.
  • You’re familiar with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and know how to prompt them towards certain outcomes.
  • Some experience with Figma and Premiere Pro is an asset. Bonus points if you’ve used Voiceflow before!

Our Process

  • Application - all candidates will hear back, either to move ahead and schedule an interview or to let you know we aren't moving ahead. No ghosting!
  • Screening Call - a 30-minute call with Jacklyn (Developer Relations Lead) and Connor (Content Lead) to learn more about the role, our company and align on expectations for the role.
  • Offer - This is when we celebrate!

Logistics

  • Location — we are located in Toronto and operate on a Hybrid model where our team comes into the office 1-2 days per week.
  • Timeline — we are moving quickly on hiring for this position, and are aiming to have our process completed and an offer sent within the next few weeks.
  • Start date — we’re able to be slightly flexible with start dates this summer, but are aiming for our chosen candidate to join as soon as possible.

Why Voiceflow

  • Work with a well-funded yet small, hard working team filled with brilliant passionate people.
  • Take ownership over your work and build momentum on important projects both assigned to you, and of your own choosing.
  • Team All-Hands, Social Hours, team bonding games, and more. Keeping our teams engaged, even in the remote world.
  • Supporting continued growth with Learning & Development and Lunch & Learn opportunities.
  • Supporting new hires by providing opportunities to participate in a Voiceflow Bootcamp where you receive one-on-one support to learn the ins and outs of our product.

Perks are nice, but perks don’t make a company or individual successful - the work does. At Voiceflow, we’re building a product that can help teams work together to rapidly design, prototype and launch conversational assistants for any channel. While you’re building for our customers, we’re building for you.
