We are seeking a culturally fluent, highly creative Digital & Social Media Specialist to lead the growth of our Chinese-language digital marketing—from both a strategic and content perspective. This role is central to our engagement with the Chinese-speaking community in North America.

You will be responsible for developing compelling content, activating platform-specific strategies, and managing key digital channels including WeChat Official Accounts, WeChat Mini Programs, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, and Weibo. Additionally, you will conduct competitive research and analysis to inform our strategies and ensure we stay ahead in the market. How You Will Contribute

  • Create, write, and localize original, engaging content in Chinese language, tailored to resonate with Chinese-speaking audiences.
  • Strategically plan and manage our presence on WeChat (Official Account + Mini Programs), Xiaohongshu, Douyin, and Weibo.
  • Lead content calendar development and campaign planning—from concept to execution—ensuring alignment with brand and business goals.
  • Conduct competitive research and analysis to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities for differentiation in the market.
  • Collaborate with internal creative, design, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive, culturally resonant experiences for our clients.
  • Oversee development and content flow of WeChat Mini Program activations, including seasonal campaigns and product/service updates.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with KOLs and digital influencers to amplify campaign reach and impact.
  • Monitor performance metrics and audience engagement to optimize strategies and content in real time.
  • Stay current on digital trends, consumer behaviours, and cultural moments across Chinese-language platforms.
  • Moderate, engage, and grow our online community through thoughtful, brand-aligned interactions.


What You Bring To The Table

  • Native-level fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Simplified required; Traditional is a plus).
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Chinese-language social media, digital marketing, or content strategy.
  • In-depth knowledge of Chinese digital ecosystems, particularly WeChat Official Accounts, Mini Programs, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, and Weibo.
  • Strong skills in Chinese copywriting, storytelling, and visual content curation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing KOL/influencer partnerships.
  • Strong ability to perform competitive research and analysis, identifying trends and opportunities for innovation.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically—balancing creativity with business objectives.
  • Experience analyzing social performance data and generating insights for continuous improvement.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.


Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with CRM, loyalty programs, or Mini Program eCommerce features.
  • Understanding of the Chinese-North American cultural landscape and consumer mindset.

This is an onsite position and the successful candidate will be required to report to the office Mon-Fri from 9:00am to 5:30pm.
