Software Security Developer

ELITS is now looking for an experienced Software Security Developer with a strong background in product and production security to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in telecommunications security, proficiency with industry-leading code scanning and penetration testing tools, and expertise in modern build environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain secure radio software solutions for mission-critical telecom products.
• Conduct regular security assessments of codebases using scanning tools such as Black Duck (for dependency and open-source risk analysis) and Truffle Hog (for secrets detection).
• Support penetration testing activities using tools such as Burp Suite to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain and optimize build environments using Makefiles, Gerrit for code review, and Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
• Stay current with emerging security threats and industry best practices in telecom and radio software security.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven background in telecom or radio software security.
• Proficiency with code scanning tools (Black Duck, Truffle Hog) and penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, etc.).
• Experience with build environments and CI/CD tools (Makefiles, Gerrit, Jenkins).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Certifications in software security (e.g., CISSP, CEH, or similar).
• Experience with other security testing frameworks and automation tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in telecom security.
