Position Overview

Reporting to the Slot Operations Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who thrives in the heart of the casino. Grey Eagle Casino is seeking a hard-working Slot Supervisor with the drive to succeed. In this key role, you are integral to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all staff and guests. If you have a calm, even-handed demeanour and are able to provide direction and guidance to a team of staff, we would like to hear from you. The Slot Supervisor responds to customer and staff concerns, delivers on Jackpots/Handpays, resolves customer disputes and machine malfunctions, while promoting and maintaining the utmost integrity and the highest calibre of customer service and respect to all guests, associates, and AGLC personnel.

Job Duties

  • Supervise Slot Floor Department team members and assign work duties
  • Manage slot machine reservations in the High Limit Rooms and promote all casino

initiatives/promotions.

  • Train staff and pass along communications as directed.
  • Coach and mentor employees and create an engaging work environment.
  • Manage schedules and coverage as delegated.
  • Work in compliance with internal controls, company policies and procedures as well as

AGLC Casino Terms and Conditions and AML Policy and Procedures.

  • Do all daily/weekly/monthly reporting as directed.
  • Reconcile payroll as delegated.
  • Manage or report any violations and escalate to the appropriate level as necessary.
  • Acquire and Maintain knowledge of all slot operations policies and procedures and best

practices.

  • Work in conjunction with the management team to achieve daily goals and tasks.
  • Address any customer concerns or complaints and follow up accordingly.
  • Build a relationship with the guests and be visible on the floor.
  • Oversee and maintain the ATMs & NRT terminals and report issues to the appropriate

people as they come up, not limited but including filling and topping up as needed.

  • Fill out reports and tracking sheets for the Slot Department as required.
  • Help to maintain coverage on the floor.
  • Understand the Slot paperwork and balancing every shift.
  • Complete discrepancies as they come up and report them to AGLC accordingly.
  • Orders and maintains all Slot Floor related Materials including but not limited to TITO

Tickets, NRT paper, ATM paper, VLT Tickets, etc.

  • Helps with monthly shredding while complying to AGLC standards in regards to storage of

TITO Tickets.

  • Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Work Conditions

  • Must be able to stand for prolong periods.
  • Must be able to carry out light cleaning duties
  • Must be available to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment

Education And Experience

  • 2-3 years preferred in the Casino/Slot Industry
  • 1-2 years preferred demonstrated experience as a Slot Attendant or Slot Cashier or Count

Room Attendant

  • Experience handling large volumes of cash, balancing funds, and working with the public
  • Superior customer service and people management skills
  • Proficiency in using email professionally, as well as Microsoft Office, with a large emphasis

on excel

  • Extensive knowledge of slot machine functions is an asset
  • The ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment as well as multi-task and prioritize duties
  • Deal Us In (Phase 1 & 2) within 30 days of start and Pro-Serve within 90 days of start.
  • The ability to obtain registration with AGLC (Anti-Money Laundering and Registered

Gaming Worker License) prior to start date.

  • Able to adapt to procedural changes when deemed necessary by house or AGLC

guidelines

  • Ability to bend, push, pull, lift, and carry objects, which could be up to 35lbs on a daily

basis.

  • To be able to work unsupervised and complete all duties
  • The ability to solve problems and maintain a positive attitude/ demeanor in difficult

situations

  • A willingness to develop new skills and stay on top of the latest industry news and

insights

The schedule for this position will vary and would require the ability to work days, nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
  • To logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work assignments in a timely

manner

  • Ability to perceive quality of work, read material and review documents,

receive/follow/apply instructions

  • Possess high-quality interpersonal skills and work well in a team
  • Set and achieve high standards of performance and customer service skills (internal &

external)

  • Complete training course(s) offered by the Casino
  • Must be able to work in a smoking environment
  • Exposure to Scents/Perfumes.
