We give you a world of potential
We’re embarking on an exciting new phase in the expansion of our Procurement target operating model and we’re looking for talented individuals to be part of the journey. These changes will enhance the capability of Computershare’s global Procurement teams. Our ambition is to create a function that is proactively called upon by the business to enable growth while reducing cost and managing risk.
As part of these changes, we are building our strategic capability in category management and implementing a new engagement model. This will allow us to focus on our stakeholders’ requirements, while grouping categories based on similar characteristics, and this role will be instrumental in delivering the benefits of the model.
Are you ready to drive impact on a global scale? At Computershare, our Procurement function is the strategic engine behind our purchasing operations—powering smart, efficient sourcing across every region and business unit worldwide. Now, we’re looking for a bold, visionary Category Director to help shape the future of our global supply chain. As a key leader within our global procurement team, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming supplier relationships, unlocking innovation, and delivering measurable value. You’ll oversee supplier engagements with a global spend portfolio ranging from $50M to $250M USD, and lead strategic initiatives that fuel our growth, efficiency, and competitive edge.
A role you will love
In this role you will lead with impact by driving global procurement strategies across key categories, managing complex supplier ecosystems and high-value contracts. You will shape the strategy but using insights and analysis to influence sourcing decisions, vendor partnerships, and category roadmaps—ensuring alignment with business goals.
As a Category Director, you will collaborate globally by partnering with senior stakeholders across multiple functions and regions to ensure seamless execution and long-term value creation and champion procurement transformation, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation by turning Procurement into a strategic powerhouse. Lastly, you will deliver results by creating cost efficiencies, putting more spend under management, and make Computershare a preferred partner for top-tier suppliers.
This is more than a procurement role—it’s a chance to make a lasting impact on a global business. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and love turning strategy into action, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
We are a global business with an entrepreneurial spirit, and we are proud of that. What that comes with is a fast-paced environment and lots of change so you will be resilient in nature and able to adapt quickly and embrace the pace of change we often work under.
Required
