We are looking for a Customer Service Representative– a skilled individual who is responsible for providing superior customer service directly with the customer and/or through daily job function, relating to customers within Canada.
What You Will Do
- Interface with customers and co-workers in a courteous professional manner regarding pricing, products, orders, invoices, exchanges, repairs, back-orders, customer complaints and other customer inquiries and issues which may arise from time to time.
- Process customer orders, credits notes via phone, email, fax, EDI and GHX.
- Communicate delivery dates to customers and follow-up on deliveries.
- Utilize our online Customer Portal and CRM tools for pricing and customer maintenance activities.
- Interface with Southmedic sales reps, regulatory, quality, shipping & receiving, purchasing, and manufacturing departments when required.
- Ensure that all business is performed with an attention to detail and are done in accordance with the Southmedic Quality System, mission and values.
- French an asset.
- Must possess good communication and telephone skills, including the ability to effectively communicate verbally and electronically in English
- 3+ years of customer service experience in an office environment
- The problems brought for resolution to Customer Service are many and varied from suppliers to shipping and thereby require extensive problem solving abilities.
- Must be knowledgeable in customer service techniques
- The incumbent must be computer literate, familiar with Visual ERP, EDI, and strong knowledge of all Microsoft systems is required
