We currently seek a highly motivated Registered Massage Therapist to join our dynamic and award winning team.
Evening and weekend availability is required.
The compensation for this role consists of an hourly rate of $17.20, along with a 23% commission for each service performed. When factoring in the commission, the effective hourly rate ranges from $40.00 to $60.00 per hour. Additionally, gratuities will be at the discretion of the guest.
Working to the core values and operational standards of Langdon Hall, and as a key member of the Spa Team, passionate Registered Massage Therapists contribute to the success of the Hotel. This position requires someone that is hospitable, friendly, and outgoing with a focus on guest service.
Duties and Responsibilities
This role involves providing expert body massage and personalized guest service by assessing individual needs, addressing physical concerns, and ensuring a relaxing, high-quality spa experience. Responsibilities include maintaining exceptional hygiene standards, documenting client progress, and collaborating with team members to deliver seamless service. A strong focus is placed on guest satisfaction, professionalism, continuous improvement, and promoting Langdon Hall’s products and services. The team member must maintain strict confidentiality in all guest and team-related matters.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required
The ideal candidate possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and knowledgeably explain treatments to guests while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and integrity. They are a team player who proactively seeks to enhance guest service, demonstrates sound judgment, and responds to client needs with appropriate solutions. A pleasant personality, flexible availability, time management skills, and a commitment to ethical conduct are essential to this role.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail under pressure. Candidates must be physically capable of performing tasks such as standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, and carrying laundry. Flexibility with scheduling, including availability on weekends, is essential.
