As a member of the Loblaw Technology & Analytics (LTA) team, you will be exposed to budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis & business partnering.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage the completeness and accuracy of the LTA Financials in a in a timely manner
- Partner with various VPs in LTA to ensure accurate reporting & compliance with controls and standards
- Lead the budgeting & forecasting process for all the business partners (internal) that you will be supporting
- Analyze, identify, and recommend operational improvement initiatives and systems modifications to increase productivity and efficiency within the department
- Support Senior Management with the development and implementation of strategic business initiatives
- Develop strong cross-functional partnerships and relationships to support key critical initiatives as needed
- Assist with ad-hoc and cross-functional projects and initiatives as required
- Building and leading diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
- A Post-Secondary education in Finance or related field is required; experience working in a fast-paced environment, particularly corporate and/or retail will be considered an asset
- Minimum of 3 years' finance or accounting experience
- Professional Finance Designations such as CPA-CMA; or MBA preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to bring together and manage interactions with employees from across the organization
- Proven People Management and Coaching skills
- Strong business acumen, with an ability to focus on continuous improvement
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Results Oriented and Critical Thinking skills
- Advanced Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel
- Familiarity with SAP and MicroStrategy will be an asset
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
