We are seeking a dynamic and experienced fitness professional to join our elite team in a unique hybrid role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness, with expertise in both group classes and personalized 1:1 training. This individual should possess a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and demonstrate a passion for providing exceptional client service while providing a personalized fitness experience to each guest.

Prepping for Sessions & Client Communication Confirm sessions with clients via email, phone, or text. Design and prepare personalized programs for new clients, ensuring they're tailored to individual goals. Complete demo sessions for prospective clients, showcasing your expertise and training style. Meet with clients to review food journals, sleep habits, and fitness progress (measurements, milestones, etc.). Conducting Sessions & Tracking Progress Lead personal training and group sessions, ensuring proper technique, motivating clients, and counting reps. Provide real-time coaching and modifications for participants, making sure all levels and abilities feel welcome and encouraged. Record all relevant data (performance metrics, feedback) and update client records using customer relations management software. Celebrate client accomplishments, big or small, and offer feedback to keep them motivated. Maintaining Relationships & Client Retention Meet with clients to complete renewal documentation and review progress. Promote the importance of combining 1/1 personal training with group classes for optimal results. Keep members informed about upcoming events, challenges, and new offerings. Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Collaborate with other coaches and managers to improve and customize the member experience. Participate in other coaches’ classes at least once per week to stay connected to the team and gain new insights. Ask for feedback from clients and participants to continually improve your coaching and program delivery. Class Leadership & Community Building

- Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class, “check-in” at the front desk, and engage with members as they arrive.
- Greet and introduce yourself to new members, ensuring they feel welcome and understand the class format.
- Lead classes with enthusiasm and motivation, creating a high-energy and inclusive atmosphere.
- Engage with participants during and after class, offering support, celebrating achievements, and answering any questions.
- Post-Class Follow-Up & Feedback
- Stay 10-15 minutes after class to connect with members, gather feedback, and discuss progress.
- Ensure a warm and positive post-class environment, keeping the conversation focused on motivation and improvement.
- Make sure all participants are checked-in or appropriately marked, ensuring accurate attendance records for each class
- Post-secondary education related to health and fitness is an asset.
- A nationally recognized Personal Training Certification is required.
- Certification in a specific fitness modality is required to teach classes.
- 1+ years of experience as a personal trainer and/or fitness instructor. Experience in teaching group fitness classes.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment
- A recent Criminal Background Check (Vulnerable Sector) prior to commencement of training and/or work.
