Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable APIs
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to gather and implement technical requirements
- Ensure API performance, scalability, and security across platforms
- Troubleshoot issues and identify bottlenecks in API functionality
- Document API development processes, standards, and best practices
- Integrate APIs with existing applications and data systems
- Implement API testing to ensure responsiveness and reliability
- Ensure encryption and certificate management for API security
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
- 68 years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Python and RESTful API development
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including API Gateway and Lambda
- Knowledge of certificate management and encryption techniques
- Familiarity with Ansible for automation
- Strong understanding of performance optimization and security best practices
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
