The Opportunity:
The Scheduler is responsible for the booking of shifts, the effective day to day business operations, providing reports on an ad-hoc basis and as requested. This role will establish continuous, innovative improvement of current services in order to provide an enhanced customer service experience.

The Scheduler is responsible for the booking of shifts, the effective day to day business operations, providing reports on an ad-hoc basis and as requested. This role will establish continuous, innovative improvement of current services in order to provide an enhanced customer service experience.
What You Will Do:
- Schedule staff for the care departments and ensure all shifts are filled to meet business needs
- Prepare daily assignment sheets for departments
- Record attendance and collect appropriate documentation from staff to support requests for shift exchanges, vacation, sick-leave or other leaves, etc
- Responsible for managing sick time, time & attendance records in Kronos
- Assist with Unit Clerk duties for relief coverage
- Maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies for the nursing department
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team as time allows
- 2+ years’ experience in a scheduler or similar role is preferred.
- A certificate or diploma in Office Administration or related field.
- Preference will be given to those with experience working with Kronos.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to handle stressful situations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a warming, caring and approachable demeanor.
- Strong MS Office Software’s skills required, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
