Job Description:

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Senior Project Manager who will manage all aspects of the delivery of the project. Responsible for managing the budget, project team resources (90+), and all project documentation.



Responsibilities:


Coordinate Vendor and Partner Services Work

• Provide a single point of contact for project work for vendors to liaise with internal stakeholders.

• Ensure vendors deliver their services in accordance with agreed-upon timelines and statements of work.

• Manage technical services, biomedical engineering, and facilities teams for their project deliverables and establish sustainment processes as required.


Coordinate Internal Work

• Provide a single point of accountability to deliver the required components of the project. The services shall generally encompass the following:

o Lead the planning team, which will be comprised of staff and contracted technical team members

o Provide project leadership, working closely with all teams, stakeholders, and vendors to monitor and ensure the project accomplishes all goals and deliverables on time and to budget

o Budget management and invoice processing


Facilitate the Creation and Approval of Project Documentation

• Project Charter and Plan

• Project Budget Forecast and Actuals

• Monthly Reports and Steering Committee meetings

• Test Strategy and Plan

• Training Strategy and Plan

• Go-live Planning Documentation

• Communications and Change Management Strategy and Plan

• Decision and Change Request Log

• Risk Register

• Complete the Production Turnover (PTO)

• Service Desk Support (SDS)

• Complete Service Level Agreement for the application

• Project Closure Report


Other Project Manager Responsibilities

• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day aspects of the project

• Manage the budget and change requests, following a robust change control process

• Review deliverables prepared by the team before passing to stakeholders

• Measure all deliverables against recommended design and best/normal practices

• Report any deviations

• Effectively apply methodology and enforce project standards

• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures

• Minimize exposure and risk on the project

• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

• Track and report team hours and expenses

• Facilitate team and stakeholder meetings effectively

• Hold regular status meetings with the project team

• Facilitate monthly steering committee meetings

• Keep the project team well informed of changes

• Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors

• Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations

• Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion

• Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully

• Effectively utilize each team member to their fullest potential

• Motivate the team to work together in the most efficient manner

• Keep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team members

• Mitigate team conflict and communication problems

• Manage day-to-day stakeholder interaction


Qualifications:

• Healthcare and implementation of TeleTracking Clinical Workflow Suite and Real Time Locating Solution experience preferred.
