What You’ll Get To Do
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and distribute monthly construction cost reports and financial summaries.
- Partner with project managers on budget reviews, variance analysis, and forecasting.
- Support consolidated financial statement preparation and internal reporting.
- Administer project-specific accounting systems and ensure timely vendor payments and bank reconciliations.
- Oversee expense coding and cost allocations in coordination with project teams.
- Manage and submit monthly draw packages for funding.
- Serve as a point of contact for lenders, responding to audit requests and compliance documentation.
- Prepare year-end working papers and support external audits.
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, corporate policies, and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with project managers, vendors, and senior leadership on financial matters.
- Assist with billing reviews, payment tracking, and ad hoc reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- CPA designation or working toward CPA (preferred)
- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a construction or real estate development environment
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting, cost tracking, and project budgeting
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting platforms like Yardi, Sage 300, Viewpoint, or similar
- Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
