Join a dynamic team in the energy sector as an Expeditor III, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the Supply Chain function by ensuring timely delivery and tracking of essential materials and equipment.

Role Overview

  • Expedite and track deliverables for assigned items related to Purchase Orders, Contracts, or Projects.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder meetings, systems, and processes to mitigate risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal teams including engineering and project contractors.
  • Coach and mentor new hires and vendors on the expediting process.
  • Ensure on-time readiness and delivery of equipment/materials to site according to project schedules.
  • Manage vendor documentation and logistics to ensure prompt review and approval.
  • Regularly review vendor schedules and reports to identify and mitigate delays.
  • Notify stakeholders of potential delays and work with suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Administer vendor supply meetings and report on equipment/material status.
  • Assist in invoice verification for accuracy.
  • Resolve freight claims and investigate shipment discrepancies.
  • Communicate commercial and technical issues to project teams.
  • Coordinate logistics for delivery and ensure readiness for off-loading at site.
  • Maintain updated electronic records for timely completion of PO/Contract closeouts.
  • Consult regularly with Team Lead/Manager on project updates.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Vendor Documentation: Strong understanding of engineering and vendor documentation requirements.
  • Expediting Best Practices: Knowledge of expediting processes in a high-paced environment.
  • Logistics Management: Experience in managing logistics and purchasing requirements.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Coordination Skills: Proficient in multi-tasking and managing timelines effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation and reporting.

Education & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in a relevant high-paced environment.
  • Education: Equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education.
