As a Technical Lead, you will make an impact by driving the success of our utilities-focused projects. You will be a valued member of our dynamic team and work closely with other team members.

In this role, you will

  • Extensive knowledge of SQL and query performance tuning
  • Proficiency in Data warehousing concepts and architecture techniques
  • Confirmed work experience as an ETL developer in ODI (Oracle data Integrator)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve production issues
  • Maintain and improve already existing processes
  • Work with business in designing and delivering accurate, high-quality data
  • Investigate the data to identify potential issues within ETL code, propose solutions
  • Ability to convert functional requirements into ETL mappings
  • Experience in OBIEE Dashboards and BI-Publisher Report development
  • Prepare documentation for further reference

What You’ll Need To Succeed (required Skills)

  • Possess extensive experience in OBIEE interactive dashboards ensuring effective data presentation and user engagement.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in OBIEE Answers and Analysis providing valuable insights into complex data sets.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator 12c enabling efficient data integration and transformation.
  • Exhibit strong understanding of the utilities' domain applying industry-specific knowledge to technical solutions.
  • Showcase ability to work in a hybrid model balancing remote and in-office tasks effectively.
  • Display superb communication skills facilitating collaboration across diverse teams.

Working arrangements

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a remote position open to qualified applicants in Ontario and/or Nova Scotia, where our hubs are located. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $107,000 CAD – $125,500 CAD per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
