Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Network Consultant to join our Network Infrastructure team. In this role, you will collaborate with Mid-Market and Enterprise clients to design, deploy, and support advanced network solutions, focusing on Fortinet and Cisco technologies, including SD-WAN. You will ensure projects meet stringent delivery schedules, technical specifications, and client requirements while upholding Arctiq’s commitment to quality. This role requires flexibility for occasional evening/weekend work and regular travel (up to 50%) to customer sites and industry events. Note: This role is primarily remote with occasional onsite presence as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Implement pre-approved Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring timely, within-scope delivery of projects while adhering to Arctiq’s project management methodology.
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings, provide regular status updates, and ensure alignment with client expectations through milestones and deliverables.
  • Provide senior-level expertise in Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiNAC) and Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki, SD-WAN) solutions, with proficiency in Palo Alto SD-WAN and security technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues during implementation, escalating to the Manager when necessary to ensure timely and effective solutions.
  • Monitor project requirements, assess the impact of additional client requests, and notify the Manager and Project Manager for SOW reevaluation if scope creep occurs.
  • Provide as-built documentation for completed projects and report weekly on project progress and accomplishments to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure all deliverables align with Arctiq’s quality standards and the project SOW, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed, with regular travel (up to 20%) to customer locations and industry events to support client engagements and business development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or 5+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree.
  • High level of expertise in planning, deploying, and supporting Cisco Enterprise Networking products (e.g., Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki, SDWAN)
  • High-level of expertise in planning, deploying, and supporting Fortinet Enterprise Networking products ( FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiNAC, FortiSASE, FortiManager / Templates, FortiAutenticator, FortiAnalyzer, FortiEMS), Cloud Networking, such as Azure, AWS, GCP, CloudFlare.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interface with technical teams and customer leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities to manage complex projects and deliver results.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience with Cisco Voice technologies (e.g., Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Webex Calling).
  • Familiarity with Cisco Security technologies (e.g., Cisco Secure Firewall, Cisco Umbrella, Duo, Cisco Secure Endpoint).

Certifications

  • Fortinet FCP in Network Security
  • Fortinet FCSS in Network Security, especially with SD-WAN specialization
  • Cisco CCNP Enterprise
  • Preferred:
  • CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise SD-WAN Implementation
  • Palo Alto PCNSE and experience with Prisma SD-WAN
