Incident Management Consultant:

On behalf of our Retail client, Procom is searching for an Incident Management Consultant for a 9 month contract role. This position is a remote position based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.


Incident Management Consultant - Job Description:

The Incident Management Consultant will be responsible for executing IT Incident Management processes. The role involves managing major incidents, coordinating with resources, and maintaining relationships with business partners to ensure effective incident resolution and communication.


Incident Management Consultant - Responsibilities:

• Manage Major/Critical incidents with significant business and revenue impact
• Provide on-call support 24/7 for business availability
• Send timely executive communication throughout the incident lifecycle
• Lead infrastructure, application, and vendor teams for incident resolution
• Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and improvements
• Advise IT teams on Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve production environment stability
  
  
  

Incident Management Consultant - Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of Major Incident Management experience
• Experience in large Enterprise Environments
• Experience managing major incidents in complex IT environments (Cloud + On-Premise)
• Understanding of enterprise technology (e.g., Unix/Linux, Windows, networking)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate incident status confidently and clearly
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  
  
  

Incident Management Consultant – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Kepner Tregoe Certification or training
• ITIL V4 Certificate or training
• Global exposure and cross-functional teamwork experience
• Experience with ITSM tools and service management principles
  
  
  

Incident Management Consultant – Assignment Length:

The contract is set to last until March 2026.
