Sault Ste. Marie Surveillance Investigator - EXPERIENCED

ISN is seeking an experienced Private Investigator to join our team in the Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario area. As a Surveillance Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting surveillance assignments and gathering meaningful evidence to meet client and company objectives.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mobile and foot surveillance for insurance claims, corporate, and legal investigations;
• Gather and document high-quality video and photographic evidence;
• Prepare detailed, accurate, and comprehensive reports;
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy protocols;
• Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from management; and
• Manage assignments with strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
• Problem-solving mindset with investigative thinking;
• Proficiency with computers, software, and surveillance equipment (cameras, video gear);
• Access to a reliable, surveillance-suitable vehicle and willingness to travel throughout Ontario; and
• Ability to maintain discretion and handle sensitive information.

Experience:

• Mobile and foot surveillance for insurance and corporate investigations; and
• Background in law enforcement or a related investigative field (an asset).

Qualifications/Education:

• Successful completion of Investigator training/course; and
• Valid Ontario Private Investigator Licence.
