Position Summary
Our culinary mission is to provide the Hollyburn Membership with an exceptional food and beverage experience in a premium casual dining environment. We aim to consistently deliver outstanding food and hospitality, creating an experience that Members are proud to share with family and friends. As a Banquet Chef de Partie you will play a key role on the Event’s culinary team, ensuring the successful execution of this mission.

Position Summary

As a Banquet Chef de Partie you will play a key role on the Event’s culinary team, ensuring the successful execution of this mission.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate food items according to standard recipes, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Ability to lead Events & Junior Cooks to success with guidance from the Events Chef
- Ambition to grow within an expanding operation, strong personal leadership skills
- Forethought and forecasting for upcoming Events & Parties
- Creativity to assist Events Chef with seasonal, yearly & special event menus
- Follow prep lists to complete assigned tasks, including advanced cooking duties and maintaining an organized, clean kitchen.
- Adhere to all nutrition, sanitation, and health & safety guidelines.
- Monitor food stock levels and promptly report any shortages or issues.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Take direction from Chefs & Sous Chefs and execute other kitchen duties as assigned.
- Minimum of four years’ experience in a similar kitchen environment.
- Culinary certification (Red Seal) or equivalent professional cooking experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of safe and sanitary food handling practices.
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle the demands of a busy kitchen.
- Own transportation is an asset due to the Club's remote location.
- Candidates must agree to complete a Police Information Check (fully reimbursed upon hire).
